Are you thankful for TDC? Because The Deafening Colors have started recording a new album...
Hey listeners! Happy Thanksgiving!
We have started recording our followup to Carousel Season.
After a few tracks here or some demos there in the time since the summer of 2015, we hit a groove last week and the body of work is growing. There's definitely an ethos about it, if not a concrete theme quite yet, per se. Still early, after all. The important thing is that we know where we're headed, and it's starting to sound that way.
I don't think we want to give too much away too soon, so let's cut it there, but it felt great to press the little red button once again. Watch this space in the coming weeks for a few progress updates here and there. In the meantime, here's a picture of the changing leaves and Cris's backseat filled with recording stuff.
PS: if you're in the area, keep a look out for The Danbees. Listen to their stuff and check out when they're playing. They are a New York City-based quartet fronted by Mark Slotoroff, brother of TDC's Cris Slotoroff, and they put on the best live show in the city.
