Are you thankful for TDC? Because The Deafening Colors have started recording a new album...
Hey listeners! Happy Thanksgiving! We have started recording our followup to Carousel Season. We will post some more details when we have them for you, but in the meantime you'll have to trust us - we think it's going to be special. After a few tracks here or some demos there in the time since the summer of 2015, we hit a groove last week and the body of work is growing. OFFICIAL: Our "Mary-Anne" music video winner!
We held a pretty straightforward contest for aspiring filmmakers: make a video for "Parkway South" or "Mary-Anne," and from this contest, several lessons became abundantly clear to us: 1) We (John, Gerard, Cris, and Mikey) have no business making music videos. We'll keep it to writing, recording, playing, acting, singing, etc. 2) The ideas that go through the heads of people who listen to our music are infinitely more interesting than we could have even imagined. 3) It's abou
OUR FIRST MUSIC VIDEO!
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! We are excited to announce our first music video for the title track on our last album: "Carousel Season!" The good people at You Don't Know Jersey went ahead and posted a link to it on their excellent site that focuses on the Garden State as a whole. Do yourself a favor and check out the actual video there. Don't forget: spread the word! Do you know any of the places in the video? If you like what you hear, then don't make plans for February 20th! We

In addition to absolutely killing it, they brought a loud crowd along with their good frien

Show Announcement!
We could not be more excited to announce that our first New York City show in more than two years will be at The Bowery Electric. We will be on first that night in support of The Danbees as they celebrate the release of their sophomore LP along with The Blind Spots, of New York City and Ithaca, NY, respectively.
